I remember going back to school as a grown-up with 4 kids. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn at however Mrs. Monique was one of my first professors and she assure me through word and deed that I was going to get my degree. She assisted me in all areas needed. I had to bring one of my youngest son with me to class and she even drove us home after every class. She never held back any information from us whether it was about school work, test, quizzes, real life situations outside of the classroom. She gave each student her individual attention. I think for her each and every day. She was with me from that day in 2010 and she is still my mentor. I graduated with honors with degrees in Human Services and Early Childhood Education. My family and I purchased our first home and I am now a teacher.
